Mother Bear was a live performance done reference the to the history of location it took place and addresses Trump’s immigration policy that caused Mexican families to be torn apart by deporting people and separating parents from their children. I thought about also referencing my mother, who has passed, and how she would have fought to death to protect her children. How the concept of Mother Bears expresses the intensity of protection and security. All of these things were channeled into this performance that took place at private location in Boston, MA.
